Having spent childhood years in Pakistan, lived and worked in America and Australia, and travelled extensively through Europe, North and Central America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, it's little surprise that Laura's main passion is travel, and one she tries to combine with writing whenever possible. It proved to be a winning combination when she came first in Red magazine's national travel writing competition, held in conjunction with Insight Travel Guides. She has also written and edited travel features for Livewire, Voyager, Orient-Express Magazine, and Golf Vacations (Singapore edition), and is the author of three chapters in the forthcoming Insight City Guide to Perth.
