FAREWELL TO FINAL SLAM-DOOR TRAIN
26 May 2005 saw the last slam-door train in service on the South West Trains' route leave London Waterloo for the final time. Waved off by Minister of State Dr Stephen Ladyman, the train was taken into retirement, making way for our brand new Desiros.
